Our line of hand trucks has gotten the biggest update. We’ve added 12 new models with a range of handle and wheel style combinations. Some include stair climbers and extension nose plates, which are also sold separately. The three wheel types (solid foam tire, aluminum wheel, pneumatic wheel) and three handle models (round, vertical loop, pin) are also sold separately to make it easy to replace or upgrade parts.

We’ve added a convertible hand truck that converts from a two-wheel upright style to a four-wheel flat cart design. The same convertible handtruck is also available with an extension nose plate to handle even bigger loads.

Our steel appliance truck with double auto recoils is also new. Most models on the market today have only a single auto recoil. Ours has dual straps and can handle up to 800 lbs., which is above industry standards for appliance trucks. Check out this video for a review of its great features:

How to use a Load Bar Holder

Load Bars and Cargo Bars are a necessity to all kinds of cargo trailers.  But the big questions is – what do you do with the load bars when they are not in use?

Use a Yellow Rack Load Bar Holder

This Load Bar Holder can have many uses – use it as a storage rack for many different pieces of cargo equipment.  It will safely store load bars, straps, and pressure bars – and it is compliant with CSA 2010.

Leverages either vertical or horizontal e-track.

How to Install E-Track in a Trailer

Its always important to install E-Track right where it needs to be…but where is that?

Etrack comes in many different sizes (singles, 2′, 5′, 8′ and 10 feet), as well as painted or galvanized.  When putting e-track in a trailer, it is best to find the wall studs – same applies if you are mounting it on the floor.

Mark the studs with a marker or pencil and then you can attach your e-track to the wall/floor.  We have found #14 self tapping screws are great if you are attaching via the studs.  1/4″ bolts with nuts and washer work best if drilling through a thick plywood floor.

So, if you want to install Etrack in a trailer – you will usually use two rows on the sidewall.  It is not necessary to to put e-track all the way to the corner if your trailer, it can save a few bucks and you will not use it most of the time.

How to Use Mover Bands

Elastic mover bands are a must-have accessory for moving. These giant rubber bands are perfect for securing drawers and doors closed on furniture during a move, and unlike tape they won’t leave a sticky residue. They’re also ideal for placing over a moving blanket or moving pad to keep the extra layer of protection in place. If your furniture is going into storage, they’re gentle and safe enough to leave on for an extended period of time.

While packing tape goes into the garbage after you’re all unpacked, these stretchy bands can be re-used after the move: use them to secure cardboard boxes closed in storage; keep around pet food cans and bags outdoors to keep unwanted critters out; keep lids on outside garbage cans; secure coolers closed when camping; bundle hiking supplies together for easier carrying…  the uses are many!

Our mover bands come in four sizes: Big (27″), Large (30″), Extra Large (36″) and Oversized (44″). Keep in mind that measurements are when laid flat before stretching- they stretch to over twice their length when in use.

Be sure to check out our entire line of moving straps & mover bands on our moving supplies page at US Cargo Control.com.

Rigging supplies & hardware
Our rigging supplies category is a varied one- including everything from small connecting links to heavy duty anchor shackles. This category is also unique because it has products that can be used for professional rigging jobs, as well as simple uses around the job site, farm, and even home.

-Cable railing systems

image of cable railing system railsOne example of a product with various uses is our
cable railing systems. Although it’s technically considered
wire rope, its lightweight design is great for stair railings,
deck railings, garage doors and more. We offer a 7×19 construction, which is comprised of 7 strands of 19 wires.
This allows it to have a slim profile without sacrificing
strength. Other profiles and styles are available by request, just contact our sales team at 800-660-3585.

-Rope
We’ve also added a huge selection of rope, including everything from natural manila rope for decorative use, to California Truck Rope for dependable tie-down uses for professional truckers.

-Bungee cords

image of 10 pack 1/2"x48" bungee cordsYou can never have too many handy bungee cords around the house, in the garage, on the farm, or at the jobsite.

While they’re great for securing cargo, boxes and other items for hauling, they’re also perfect for bundling items to make them easier to carry or store away, keeping lids closed on coolers, tool boxes, animal crates, garbage cans, etc.

-Soft tie straps with plush covers
We have several motorcycle tie down straps to choose from, but these motorcycle straps with soft tie plush covers will protect your bike from scratches and dings during transport. They’re designed like a typical handle bar strap, but the soft chamois covers provide and extra layer of protection.

-Roller idler

image of e-track roller idler fitting

Simply snap the roller idler fitting assembly into E-track installed on your trailer floor and you can instantly secure a vehicle by either the frame or the tires. The roller design moves toward the direction of the tension which keeps the strap close to the track.

Galvanized E-Track vs. Painted E-Track

The choice of using galvanized etrack or painted e-track can be based on three factors: price, color and installation location.

Price

Painted e-track is slightly cheaper than its galvanized sibling.  But for the most part – galvanized is only a couple dollars more, because of the process used to treat the metal.

Color

E-Track’s color is also based on which version of etrack you are buying.  Galvanized is a silver color – which can help it blend in if you are looking for a solution to match aluminum. It is slightly more reflective than aluminum.

Painted etrack is green and powder coated – which makes it resistant to scratching and will hold up well to daily use.

Installation Location

Finally we get to what kind/where you plan to install your e-track.  If the installation is on the exterior, then the best choice will be galvanized.  This treatment provides the best resistance to elements in the e-rack lineup.
